Recovery coaching can support you in a variety of ways. It is a really hard thing to live a fulfilled life while simultaneously dealing with mental health issues. I believe recovery coaching can provide the extra support you are looking for. 

Coaching is helpful as an augment to traditional therapy or on its own as a way to connect with someone who has been through similar experiences and can offer strategic activities rooted in evidence-based treatments. 

Examples of possible session work include:

  • Learning and practicing new ways of coping with difficult emotions

  • Exploring your true values

  • Developing and practicing self-compassion

  • Body image healing work

  • Exploring your Why's for recovery

  • Making a relapse prevention plan

  • Goal-setting and support in achieving your goals

  • Challenging negative thought patterns

Session Details:

  • Coaching sessions are typically 60 minutes in length. 

  • Sessions are offered weekly, or less frequently if that better suits your needs.

  • The focus of each session will be individualized and based on your goals.

  • You are welcome to email me in-between weekly sessions—if you need to vent, are having a hard time, or just want to chat a bit. I will respond as quickly as possible.

  • The fee for coaching is $50 per 60-minute video session. Sliding scale payment is available.

in-person sessions:

  • Offered once a month as an adjunct to virtual meetings

  • Are done in the community, wherever is convenient for you. Often folks choose to have a meal together or attend a recovery meeting.

  • Are a great time to work on practical steps towards your goals—together!
